Gerdine Young Artist Program / Opera Theatre of St. Louis will be
auditioning at Oberlin on Saturday, November 18th from 9-5pm in Central 25.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Composers, Pianists, and players of Orchestral instruments:
Do you believe music can save the world? Then apply to participate
in Music For The People project! MFTP promotes international cultural
understanding and improves the image of the U.S. through music. Its projects
send young classical musicians around the world on missions of cultural
diplomacy. Tours consist of concerts, outreach performances, collaborations
with humanitarian organizations and local musicians, lessons, master classes,
lectures, learning the local language/interacting with host families. MFTP has conducted projects in Moldova,
Tunisia, the Philippines, and Zimbabwe. Applications are now being accepted for
all projects in 2007; the deadline is Wednesday, November 29, 2006. The
