Career Notes!

Fall Edition 3

October 19, 2006

Brought to you by the Office of Career Services, Conservatory Career Resource Center, Robertson 129

ÒCareer Notes!Ó is a bi-weekly newsletter that goes out to every conservatory student in an effort to make you aware of music related opportunities such as competitions, festivals, performance/teaching jobs, as well as information about scholarships and grants for study.  In about a month you will start seeing interesting internships for Winter Term and in the Spring we will advertise part time summer jobs around the country.  Career Notes! is not Òjunk mailÓ, so if nothing else, save them for later use.  This newsletter is put together by the staff in the Conservatory Career Resource Center-located in Robertson 129.  Here, we can provide you with detailed information on all current or past information found in Career Notes! and assists in graduate school searching, resume/bio/cover letter writing, and tips on interviewing and auditioning.  We encourage you to come see our office and use the wonderful free resources that Oberlin has for you.  As always, we appreciate feedback on the newsletter and would love to hear what you would like to see here.
