About
the Office of Career Services -
Conservatory Career Resource Center
The Conservatory Career Resource Center is managed by Sara Adams, Assistant Director of Career Services and staffed by three Conservatory students. The staff and resources in the CRC are available to assist students in identifying information, experiences, and skills necessary to successfully manage their professional lives.
Located in Robertson 129, the CRC is a clearinghouse of career related materials, meant to assist students as they look for summer programs, festivals, competitions, master classes, and graduate school.
The CRC maintains an online database of hundreds of international competitions and festivals and sends a bi-weekly email bulletin to all students. Career Notes includes upcoming audition deadlines, campus workshops and auditions, internship information, and other announcements. The CRC also houses the Gig Referral Service, which connects student musicians with opportunities to freelance in the community. Please stop by with your questions, to peruse our library, or pick up one of our Career Guides.
