Students of all class years are encouraged to apply for these internships.
The application deadline is November 9, 2007!
We recommend that you meet with a Career Counselor well before the deadline as you will need a resume and cover letter to apply. First check out our online guides to the left.
Why should you do a winter term internship?
You'll get:
- A firsthand look at what it's really like to work in a field in which you're interested
- The opportunity to apply your liberal arts skills in a real-world environment under the guidance of a faculty sponsor and supervision of a site supervisor
- Information to help you in your career decision-making process
- Experience that will greatly strengthen your future job and internship applications
You can browse and apply for these internships online via ObieOpps. If you are interested in participating in a Winter Term Internship check out the Career Services Winter Term information page or stop by our office in Stevenson-Longman.
If you are not interested in any of the internships coordinated through The Office of Career Services, you can meet with a career advisor to discuss your specific career interests and receive assistance in developing your own internship. This is an individualized process depending on your career interest and where you want to be geographically during winter term. Make an individual appointment by stopping in or calling our office, 440-775-8140.
