56. South Hall

Housing 224 Conservatory and Arts and Sciences students, as well as students from all four class years, South Hall is the second-largest residence hall. The three-story building is divided into four wings; each floor has four sections of approximately 20 students. The first floor contains one all-female section and three all-male sections; the second floor is all female; and the third floor is coed by alternating room. Rooms include singles, divided doubles, and quads. The main lounge has a piano, and each floor section has a small lounge. South also has two large kitchens.
