Stocking Stuffers

It’s that time of year again! College Lanes has plenty of gift ideas for you! Bowling supplies make excellent stocking stuffers. They can also prolong the enjoyment of new bowling balls or shoes.

If apparel is what you are looking for, we still have College Lanes T-Shirts, Hats, and Towels available. As always, the proceeds benefit the Oberlin College Bowling Team.

We also have bowling passes for sale if you want to give games to your special bowler. All of these items are available at the service counter.

Winter Shutdown

College Lanes last day of business for the year will be Friday, December 21st. We will re-open for business on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008. This is part of the Oberlin College Campus annual holiday shutdown.

We are still able to take party reservations for events up to the 21st. So if you want to have a holiday get-together, give us a call or talk to your lane attendant to set up your event today!

PBA Experience

Every Sunday on ESPN you get the opportunity to see some of the world’s greatest bowlers take on demanding oil patterns in the hopes of winning a tournament. Every Wednesday, College Lanes gives you the opportunity to test yourself on those same patterns. It is the Singles Shootout: PBA Experience.

This league is open to all bowlers, regardless of skill level. It is average-based competition, so all you have to do is bowl well in relation to your demonstrated ability. Also, anyone can beat anyone in a single match, so it realy is anyone’s game.

Do you already bowl in a USBC league? If you already hold a membership, you can try out the PBA Experience league without buying a membership upgrade! All it costs is the $5 bowling fee!
