Free Coaching Available
Does your bowling need a tune-up? Help is here with USBC Certified coaching! Staff members John Zaldonis and Mike McComb are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30p – 6:00p for drop-in coaching office hours. If you need a quick tip on how to pick up your corner pins or want to work on a specific item for your bag of tricks, John and Mike are here to help. No appointment is necessary!
PBA Experience Schedule
The first half of the league has completed, but it is never too late to join in the fun! We are cycling through the five main Tour patterns again starting Wednesday, April 4th at 7:30pm!
April 11: CHAMELEON
39 feet that lefties tend to favor
To excel, bowlers must be versatile in many styles of play
April 18: CHEETAH
35 feet – the shortest pattern
This pattern is high risk/high reward if you can play near the gutter
April 25: SCORPION
41 feet with no clearly defined zone
If you can’t find the right groove on the lanes, you’ll be
stung!
OC Unconventional
The last Intercollegiate Event for the OC Bowling Team is the OC Unconventional on Saturday, April 14th. The team would love to have a cheering section and all are invited to watch this free event. The Oberlin Crimson and Gold teams will take on teams from Kent State, OU-Chillicothe, and Grand Valley State. The tournament begins at Noon here at College Lanes.
Summertime Bowling
As winter leagues finish their season, it is time to think
about bowling in the summer. College Lanes has two leagues that will help
you improve or keep you in your groove.
The Summer Family League will bowl on Tuesdays starting on June 5th and
running through August 14th. This is a league for three person teams of
any combination of men, women and youth.
The Summer Mixed League will bowl on Thursdays starting on June 7th and
running through August 9th. Teams of three can be composed of any combination
of men, women, and youth.
Both leagues will be USBC Certified. The cost is only $6 per bowler per
week and will be pay-as-you-go. Both leagues are 100% handicap.
If you have any questions or would like to sign up, just ask your friendly
lane attendant!
