- Working weekly 2-10 hours per week as a literacy tutor for children in preschool through fifth grade in the community
- Attending pre-service and bi-weekly workshops as well as completing a biweekly journal assignment (paid time)
- Meeting with the America Reads Coordinator during regular hours when requested.
- Participating in program evaluation
- Assisting with America Reads community events throughout the year (paid time)
- Meeting all of the requirements of your tutoring site including paperwork, dress code, standards of conduct and attendance policies
