-- The Oberlin women's tennis team won its first match of the 2007 North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament by blanking Wittenberg University, 5-0. Senior Bianca Barr and sophomore Jane Hayden both earned wins in singles and the Yeowomen swept all three doubles match to earn the quick decision over the Tigers.
With the win, Oberlin (11-9, 4-3 NCAC) earns the right to face host and number-one seed Denison University (14-4, 6-0 NCAC) tomorrow morning. The match in Granville, Ohio, is slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. If Oberlin defeats the Big Red, it will play the winner of the Ohio Wesleyan/Kenyon match at 2:30 p.m. If the Yeowomen are topped by Denison, they will square off against the loser of the OWU/Kenyon match at 2:30 p.m.
