April 6, 2007 -- The Oberlin College women's tennis team competed in the GLCA Tournament today in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Yeowomen fell to Kalamazoo College, 0-5, and were defeated by Hope College, 1-5. With the two defeats the Yeowomen fell to 8-7 overall.

Oberlin was led by sophomore Olivia Hayden, who defeated Hope College's Christine Garcia, 3-6, 6-2, 6-1, in singles competition.

The Yeowomen return to action on April 13 when they host Allegheny College. The NCAC contest is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
