April 26 – The Oberlin College women’s tennis team concluded their 2008 season in grand fashion with a 5-2 defeat of Allegheny in the NCAC Tournament to finish in third place.
April 25 – The Oberlin College women’s tennis team swept doubles and looked as if they were going to cruise to an opening-round win in the NCAC Tournament, but that was not case as Wittenberg rallied with four singles wins to force the match to a full nine-point decision.
April 22 – In the final regular-season home match of her career, senior Kimiko Glynn knocked off the 21st- ranked player in the region, Paige MacDonald, to highlight the afternoon for the Yeowomen.
April 19 – The Oberlin College women’s tennis team had no trouble handling conference foe Earlham on Saturday afternoon as the Yeowomen were victorious by a 6-3 count.
April 15 – Oberlin College senior Kimiko Glynn knocked off 2007 NCAC Player of the Year and NCAA Qualifier Meghan Damico to highlight the Yeowomen’s first outdoor meet on the Don Hunsinger Courts this season.
April 12 – The Oberlin College women’s tennis team found themselves on the wrong side of a closely-fought 5-4 decision against Allegheny on Saturday afternoon at the Westwood Tennis Center in Erie, Pa.
April 5 – The Oberlin College women’s tennis team was again slated in the first match of the morning on day two of the GLCA tournament hosted by Oberlin. The Yeowomen, playing indoors this morning due to cold outdoor temperatures, fell by a 6-1 count to Albion College.
April 4 – The first day of the GLCA Tournament didn’t turn out they way they would have liked for the Oberlin College women’s tennis team as they dropped a morning match to Hope College, 6-0, and also lost to Kalamazoo College 5-2 later in the day.
April 2 – The Oberlin College women’s team improved to 3-0 in conference play as they defeated Wooster 9-0 on Wednesday evening at the John W. Heisman Field House.
April 2 – The Oberlin College women’s tennis team will host the 2008 Great Lakes College Association Women’s Tennis Tournament on Friday, April 4, and Saturday April 5 at the Don Hunsinger Courts.
March 27 – Facing their second nationally ranked opponent during the trip to Hilton Head the Oberlin College women’s tennis squad again fell short falling to the University of Chicago 7-2 Thursday afternoon.
March 26 – The Oberlin College women’s team and head coach Constantine Ananiadis will be offering a free tennis clinic for kids aged 6-15 on Saturday, April 5 at 12 p.m.
March 25 – The Oberlin College women’s tennis team had some highpoints, but in the end DePauw proved why it is one of the best teams in the country by defeating the Yeowomen 8-1 on Tuesday afternoon.
March 24 – In their first match of Spring Break, the Oberlin College women’s tennis team dropped a hard-fought 6-3 decision against Carleton College in Hilton Head, S.C. on Monday afternoon.
March 16 – The Yeowomen tennis team moved to 2-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference by defeating Wittenberg University this afternoon 6-3 at the John W. Heisman Field House.
March 15 – The Oberlin College women’s tennis team put away the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan University this afternoon to earn their first conference win of the season by an 8-1 score.
