Kristen Hayden

Kristen Hayden entered her first season at the helm of the Oberlin women’s soccer team in the summer of 2007 after serving as the program’s top assistant in 2006. Hayden brings a wealth of experience and excitement to the Yeowomen. After beginning her tenure at Oberlin last season, Hayden quickly dived into all aspects of recruiting and program management.  Hayden helped guide the team six wins in 2006 and coached three players to All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors.

Says Hayden, "The program has made tremendous strides in the recent past and is beginning to see a change in culture. I am looking forward to continued growth and development with a wonderful group of student-athletes at an incredible academic and athletic institution."     

Hayden spent the 2004 and 2005 seasons as an assistant coach at Kent State University. She helped guide the Golden Flashes to the Mid-American Conference title in her first year and an appearance at the MAC tournament championship in 2005. She also has coached with the Greater Akron Premier Soccer Club in Akron.

Hayden earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Cleveland State University in 2000. She completed her master’s degree in exercise, sport, and leisure studies from Kent State in 2006.

Jane Wildman

Jane Wildman returned to the women’s soccer program in the summer of 2007 after serving the Oberlin athletics department in a number of different capacities. Heading into the 2007 season, Wildman made the return to coaching after working as a senior athletics administrator. Wildman led the Yeowomen’s soccer program from 1999 to 2004 before making the move to administration.

A 1993 graduate of Denison University, Wildman received all-region and all-conference honors as a goalkeeper. She was a co-captain and a four-year starter for Denison, and during her senior year, the team competed in the NCAA Championships for the first time in soccer history. She served as an assistant coach at The College of Wooster for two years, and more recently, Wildman was the head soccer coach at Susquehanna University. Wildman earned a master's degree in sports administration from Kent State University in 1999 and has earned the NSCAA Advanced National Soccer Coaching Diploma.
