October 6, 2007 -- Oberlin traveled to Richmond, Ind., today for a North Coast Athletic Conference women's soccer contest against Earlham College. The host Quakers scored two second-half goals to earn a 3-1 victory over the Yeowomen. After the loss, Oberlin slipped to 2-8-1 overall and 0-3-0 in league play. Earlham improved to 10-2-1 with the victory.
Oberlin played a great first half, scoring the first goal of the game 19:24 into the contest. Lois Immerman provided the score off an assist from Kate Berry-Millett. Earlham scored off an own goal after a corner kick 27:31 into the game to make the score 1-1 at the intermission.
In the second half, Earlham's Callie Thompson scored the eventual game-winner 63:27 into the contest. Karman Duchon added an insurance goal with just under 15 minutes remaining.
The Yeowomen will trek to Springfield, Ohio, on October 13 to face NCAC rival Wittenberg University at 1:00 p.m.
