October 18, 2007 -- Oberlin hosted
Allegheny College this afternoon for a North Coast
Athletic Conference women's soccer contest at Fred
Shults Field. The visiting Gators scored three first-half
goals to defeat the Yeowomen, 3-1.
Leah McElhatton scored Oberlin's lone goal with 32
minutes left in the second half. Oberlin was out-shot
6-27. Christie Zelnik saved 10 shots in goal for the
Yeowomen.
Allegheny's Katie Murphy scored two goals help her
team to the victory.
Oberlin will travel to Wooster for its next game on
October 20.
