September 2, 2006 -- In the first game of their weekend trip to Claremont, Calif., the Oberlin College women's soccer team was narrowly defeated this evening by the College of St. Catherine (Minn.), 0-1.
The Yeowomen dominated the possession in the first half and had numerous opportunities to score, but they couldn't quite find the back of the net in their season opener.
Tomorrow afternoon, Oberlin will look to gain its first victory of the 2006 season when it faces Pomona-Pitzer (Calif.) at 2:00 (EST) p.m.
