Lela Hull (So.) and Scarlett Prati (Fr.) both tallied three goals today at Kenyon College
Women's Lacrosse Finishes Season at Kenyon College

May 1, 2007 -- Standouts Lela Hull (So.) and Scarlett Prati (Fr.) both scored three goals today at Kenyon College, but the host Ladies scored 14 first-half goals to claim a 21-10 North Coast Athletic Conference win in Gambier, Ohio. The loss ends the Yeowomen's (6-9, 1-5 NCAC) season, while Kenyon improved to 8-7 overall and 3-3 in league competition.

Kenyon got off to a quick start today, taking a 3-0 lead just 3:30 into the contest. Hull and Prati both racked up two scores in the opening half, but the Ladies cruised to a 14-7 lead at halftime. In the second half, Kenyon out-scored Oberlin, 7-3.

For the game, Kenyon held a 38-30 shot advantage and 18-15 advantage in draw controls. The Ladies were led by first-year Franke De Lavis, who netted six goals. De Lavis and Hull currently lead the NCAC in scoring.

Hull finished her sophomore campaign with a team-best 51 goals, 23 assists, and 70 draw controls. Prati netted 40 goals in her first year playing in the crimson and gold. Seniors Callie Gropp and Lynn Gerbec played in their final game at Oberlin today. Gropp started all 15 games this season as a defender and scooped up 22 ground balls and caused eight turnovers. Gerbec also started all 15 games on defense and led the Yeowomen in both ground balls (32) and caused turnovers (23).
