Oberlin Women's Lacrosse Falls to Allegheny College, 13-17

April 21, 2007 -- Host Allegheny College (Pa.) took advantage of nine first-half goals to claim a 17-13 North Coast Athletic Conference win over Oberlin today in Meadville. With the loss, the Yeowomen's record stands at 6-5 overall and 1-3 in the NCAC, while the Gators improved to 3-8 (1-3 NCAC).

Three Yeowomen had strong offensive days, led by sophomore Lela Hull's four goals, one assist, and five draw controls. Dana Rich and Scarlett Prati both added three goals and two draws.

Allegheny was led in victory by Michelle Dudevoir and Christina Zanic, who both netted five goals.

Oberlin will play next on April 24 in an NCAC contest at Ohio Wesleyan University (4:30 p.m.).
