-- Oberlin traveled to central Ohio for a weekend of matches at Kenyon College and Ohio Wesleyan University. The Yeowomen were defeated in tonight's contest at Kenyon, falling 1-3 (29-31, 30-17, 23-30, 16-30) to the host Ladies. With the loss, Oberlin's record fell to 3-11 (0-7 North Coast Athletic Conference), while Kenyon improved to 3-13 and 1-5 in conference play.
Head Coach Carey Cavanaugh's team has been steadily improving with respect to overall consistency and also blocking. Against the Ladies, Oberlin tallied eight blocks in the four games (14 blocks assists and one solo).
Tomorrow afternoon, Oberlin will travel from Gambier to nearby Delaware, Ohio to compete in a tri-match at Ohio Wesleyan University. The Yeowomen's first contest of the day will begin at 1:00 p.m., while they will return to action again at 3:00 p.m.
