-- The Oberlin volleyball squad visited Denison University this evening for a North Coast Athletic Conference match-up in Granville, Ohio. The Big Red (16-10, 10-5 NCAC) got off to a quick start, winning the first two games 30-9 and 30-3, and held off a surge by the Yeowomen in the third game to win the match, 3-0, in Livingston Gymnasium. Oberlin's record slips to 5-20 overall and 0-14 in conference play with the defeat.
The rest of this week features a number of exciting match-ups for Head Coach Carey Cavanaugh's team. On Friday, which is senior night for Alix Feeley, Meaghan Pugh, and Rose Garrett, the Yeowomen will host Kenyon College (6-21, 3-11 NCAC) at 7:00 p.m. in Philips Gymnasium. The following afternoon, Oberlin will close out its season by welcoming Ohio Wesleyan University (20-8, 8-7 NCAC) at noon and Case Western Reserve University (11-19, 1-6 University Athletic Association) at 4:00 p.m.
