Maddy Davis-Hayes (So.) runs in the 5,000-meter run NCAA Division III Championships this afternoon at Wisconsin-Oshkosh

May 26, 2007 -- Maddy Davis-Hayes, a sophomore distance runner from Philadelphia, Pa. (Germantown Friends High School), competed in the NCAA Division III Championships this afternoon at Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Hayes qualified for the 5,000-meter run earlier this season by running a 17:15.70 at the Hillsdale Relays on April 27.

Hayes finished 17th today against a strong group of competitors, as she crossed the finish line in 18:11.44. Teammate Barrie Newberger also competed in the 1,500-meter NCAA Championships just two days ago.
