May 9 – Oberlin College senior Cory Myers posted a NCAA provisional qualify mark of 15-05.25 in the men’s pole vault to highlight an exciting day of track and field action at the Allegheny Gator Invite on Friday.
May 2 – The Oberlin College women’s track and field team scored the most points of any third-place finisher in NCAC history, while the men’s team recorded their best conference finish in school history by placing fourth at the NCAC Championships on Friday.
May 1 – It was a good first day for the Oberlin College track and field team as the Yeowomen rest in third place with 34 points, while the men are in fifth with 23 points.
April 27 – Oberlin College junior Kyle Taljan registered 5,732 points in the decathlon to establish a new school record and earn a second-place finish at the 2008 NCAC Multi-event Championships on Oberlin’s campus this weekend.
April 26 – The Oberlin College men’s and women’s track and field teams got great efforts from everyone on their respective rosters to win their own Bob Kahn Invitational on Friday evening.
April 23 – For the fourth-straight week, an Oberlin College track and field athlete has earned weekly recognition from the North Coast Athletic Conference as junior Ryan King was tabbed as the NCAC Men’s Middle Distance Runner of the Week on Tuesday.
April 19 – It was a good day for both the Oberlin College men’s and women’s track field teams at the Kenyon Invitational as two more school records were broken on the women’s side.
April 14 – The accolades keep rolling in for the Oberlin College track and field team as sophomore Madeline Schultz was named NCAC Sprints/Hurdles Runner of the Week, the league office released late Monday night.
April 12 – The Oberlin College track and field team continued to rewrite the record books on Saturday as they established two more school-best marks at the All-Ohio Championships.
April 11 – The Oberlin College track and field team hosted its first outdoor meet in seven years as they competed against Wooster on the newly constructed Robert Kahn track for the first time in school history on Friday evening.
April 8 – Oberlin College student-athletes Jack Dunn and Anna Chernin were recognized as NCAC Athletes of the Week in their respective sports of baseball and track and field, the league office announced on Monday evening.
April 5 – The Oberlin College women’s track field team broke three school records en route to finishing in sixth place with 52.75 points at the 12-team Marv Frye Invitational at Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday.
