January 19 – Jenny Meltz broke her own school record in the 1,000-yard freestyle, and Corey Myers won both diving events with national-qualifying scores to lead the Oberlin College swimming and diving team to a dual-meet sweep over John Carroll on Saturday afternoon.
The Yeomen had a very convincing 161-116 victory, while the Yeowomen earned a hard-fought 149-145 decision.
“All in all we had some very good swims,” head coach Mark Fino said. “We still need to work on a few little things before we head into what I hope should be a very strong conference championship meet.
