October 21, 2006 -- The Oberlin swimming and diving squad traveled to Kenyon College today to compete in the North Coast Athletic Conference relays. Many of Head Coach Mark Fino's swimmers and divers gained quality meet experience in the Yeomen's and Yeowomen's first event of the 2006-2007 season.
"We swam very well for our first meet of the year," Fino said. "As a whole, the heart and effort that our team showed was phenomenal. I'm very proud of our team today."
The Yeomen and Yeowomen, who had a chance to cheer on the men's soccer team in their 3-0 triumph over Kenyon later in the afternoon, will welcome Denison University to Carr Pool on October 28. The NCAC dual meet is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m.
