March 8, 2007 -- Oberlin swimming and diving was named to the Academic All-American team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. The Yeomen received the honor by earning a team GPA of 2.98 during the fall semester of 2006. The Yeowomen earned a 3.29 team GPA in the fall to also claim Academic All-American honors.
Only 350 teams earned the College Swim Coaches' Association of America (CSCAA) Academic All-American honor, which is awarded to teams with a 2.80 or better grade point average in the fall 2006 semester.
