March 2 – The Oberlin College softball team completed their season-opening weekend on Sunday, falling to Wilmington College 10-2 and Case Western Reserve 8-0 at the Centre College Tournament in Kentucky.
Oberlin (0-4) got RBI singles from Julia Chauvin and Michelle Zanni against the Quakers in game one.
The Yeowomen, who were originally slated to play Centre College in game two, instead battled local rival, Case Western Reserve – falling 8-0.
OC will have nearly a two week break from competition before it returns to the diamond to take on Lake Eric College on March 15.
