Game One Box l Game Two Box
April 1 – The Oberlin College softball team opened up conference play on Tuesday – falling to Allegheny College 11-2 and 18-2.
In game one, the Gators posted a 10-spot in the first inning and never looked back. Michelle Zanni got the start on the mound, but her defense really let her down as the Yeowomen committed six errors in the game.
Sophomore Nella Williams recorded her first multi-hit game of the season, going 2-for-2.
In game two, Allegheny once again got off to a fast start with an eight-run first to deflate Oberlin’s chances at a split.
Zanni went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
Oberlin will look to regroup on Saturday when it travels to Ohio Wesleyan for another NCAC doubleheader. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
