April 21, 2007 -- Oberlin's softball
team voyaged to Springfield, Ohio this afternoon to face
Wittenberg University for a North Coast Athletic Conference
doubleheader. The host Tigers defeated the Yeowomen in
both games, 6-0 and 17-0, to improve to 24-10 and 9-3 in
the NCAC. Oberlin fell to 1-21 and 0-10 in league play
with the losses.
First-year Lauren Luther led Oberlin today by racking
up two hits, including a double. Wittenberg was led
by Cameron Catalfu, who accumulated five hits and four
runs scored.
The Yeowomen will trek to Hiram tomorrow for a 1:00
p.m. twinbill against the Terriers.
