April 18, 2007 -- The Oberlin softball team was defeated twice by host Wooster this afternoon, 0-6 and 1-2. With the losses, the Yeowomen's record sits at 1-19 overall and 0-8 in league play, while the Fighting Scots improved to 10-16 overall and 3-3 in the North Coast Athletic Conference.

First-year centerfielder Sophie Schacht led Oberlin at the plate today, as she collected three hits, including two in the opening contest.

Oberlin will play next on April 21 at Wittenberg University (1:00 p.m. start time).
