Julia Chauvin (Fr.)

May 10, 2007 -- First-year softball player Julia Chauvin was named All-North Coast Athletic Conference this afternoon after a vote conducted by the league's coaches. A native of Hillsborough, N.C. (Orange High School), Chauvin boasted a .294 batting average in conference competition to earn honorable mention All-NCAC accolades.

Chauvin finished the 2007 season second on the team in batting average (.299) and led the Yeowomen in home runs (two), triples (two), runs batted in (12), slugging percentage (.478), hits (20), and runs scored (10), and total bases (32).
