Oberlin Racks Up Fifth Straight With Win Over Ohio Wesleyan, 9-0

March 3, 2007 -- The Yeomen dominated the visiting Battling Bishops today in NCAC action, 9-0, at the Heisman Field House. Oberlin, who has won five in a row, improved to 5-1 (2-0 NCAC), while Ohio Wesleyan fell to 0-4 (0-2 NCAC) with the loss.

Oberlin swept each of its singles and doubles matches in the victory. The singles winners today were junior Chris Pray, sophomore David Midler, senior Arthur Zeyda, junior Ezra Goldman, junior Colin Burling, and junior Tom Page.

In doubles action Pray and Burling defeated Adrian Barker and Brandon Luttinger, 8-5, Midler and Goldman downed Garret Paknis and Alex McDonald, 8-3, and Zeyda and Page beat John Hering and Rob Doersam, 8-0.

The Yeomen return to action on March 10 with a home non-conference match-up with Ohio Dominican University. The match is set for 10:00 a.m.
