March 10, 2007 -- Oberlin
dominated visiting Ohio Dominican today, 8-1, at the
Heisman Field House. The Yeomen have won six in a
row and with the victory improved to 6-1 (2-0 NCAC).
With the loss, the Panthers fell to 0-2 on the year.
The Yeomen were led by junior Ezra Goldman
and sophomore David Midler, who won both their singles
and doubles matches. Playing second doubles together,
Goldman and Midler defeated Ohio Dominican's Travis
Pecinovsky and Michael Simon, 8-3. In second doubles
senior Arthur Zeyda and junior Tom Page defeated Ohio
Dominican's Anthony Simon and Darrin Summers.
Singles winners were junior Chris Pray,
Midler, Zeyda, Goldman, Page, and junior Colin Burling.
Oberlin returns to action on March 17
when they host Washington and Jefferson College. The
match is set for 1:00 p.m. in the Heisman Field House.
