May 10, 2007 -- Four members of the Oberlin College men's tennis team were recently named All-North Coast Athletic Conference in a vote conducted by the league's coaches. Senior Arthur Zeyda, juniors Chris Pray and Colin Burling and sophomore David Midler all received All-NCAC recognition.
Pray, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio (Walnut Hills High School), led the way by being tabbed to the league's first team. He finished the 2007 season with a 13-10 record in first singles. He was a first team All-NCAC selection last season and received second team All-NCAC honors in 2005. Pray also teamed up with classmate Colin Burling (Granville, Ohio/Granville) to receive second team All-NCAC recognition in doubles play. The duo sported a 10-14 record in first doubles action this year.
A native of Grand Blanc, Mich. (Carmen-Ainsworth), Midler was named honorable mention All-NCAC after going 14-7 at second singles. Senior Arthur Zeyda (Dayton, Ohio/Miami Valley) concluded his Oberlin career by tallying a 7-15 mark this season at third singles, earning him honorable mention all-league accolades.
