Zach Tesler (Sr.)

December 19, 2006 -- Zach Tesler, a senior defender on the Oberlin's men's soccer team, was recently named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Great Lakes All-Region Team. A tri-captain for Head Coach Blake New, Tesler was named first team All-North Coast Athletic Conference on November 16.

A native of Mercer Island, Wash. (Lakeside School), Tesler finished second on the team in goals (six) and points (12). He led the Yeomen to their second-straight NCAC playoff appearance this season, as Oberlin finished the 2006 campaign with a record of 8-5-5 overall and 5-2-2 in conference play. Tesler and the Yeomen were undefeated at home this year (5-0-3).
