-- In a vote conducted by the North Coast Athletic Conference's men's soccer coaches, five Yeomen were named All-NCAC for their efforts during the 2006 season. For the second straight year, Oberlin qualified for the conference playoffs, compiling an 8-5-5 overall record and a 5-2-2 mark in NCAC competition. Head Coach Blake New's team finished the season undefeated at home (5-0-3).
A trio of Yeomen headline the first team All-NCAC squad. Seniors Zach Tesler and Clayton Combe both received the first team nod, as did junior Sam Zackheim. Tesler, a midfielder, finished second on the team in goals (six) and points (12). Combe was the only goalkeeper to receive first team honors in the NCAC after recording seven shutouts and compiling 69 saves and only 17 goals allowed. Combe was also named second team All-NCAC in 2005. Zackheim received first team accolades for the second straight season at the midfield position, leading the Yeomen with seven goals and 15 points. He finished the 2006 campaign tied for third in the conference with 0.38 goals per game.
Senior Montgomery Lobe makes his second consecutive appearance on the honorable mention All-NCAC squad. Lobe passed for two assists this season, while fellow defender Ross Myers (Jr.) also received honorable mention All-NCAC recognition.
