Senior guard Devin Fulk paced the Wooster attack on a perfect 6-6 shooting from the field. Junior forward Marty Bidwell chipped in 13 points and nine rebounds.
Oberlin was undone by a sub-par shooting performance. The Yeomen hit just over 30% of their field goal attempts, including 24% from behind the three-point arc. Junior forward Mike Loll led the Yeomen in scoring, with 16 points, and rebounding, with five boards. Senior guard Jordan Beard added 12 points and two steals.
"I'm really proud of how we battled the entire game," Head Coach Isaiah Cavaco said. "This is the first time this season we've competed over an entire 40 minutes. We just ran into one of the top teams in the country tonight."
Oberlin drops to 0-7 overall and 0-1 in the NCAC. Conference competition continues this Saturday when the Yeomen travel to Earlham College for a 3:00 p.m. tipoff.
