April 9 – Oberlin College head basketball coach Isaiah Cavaco announced the Yeomen’s 2008-09 non-conference opponents on Wednesday.
“I think our non-conference schedule will allow us to grow as a team and will help us prepare for league play,” Cavaco said.
OC will battle Kalamazoo College, Thomas More College, Mt. Aloysius and Westminster College, before embarking on a trip out west to California to take on Cal Tech, Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont-McKenna.
In a return trip from last season, the Yeomen will play host to Alma College, and complete their non-league games against UAA member and local rival Case Western Reserve.
A complete schedule will be released at a later date.
