Golf Wraps Up Season

April 29, 2006 -- The Oberlin College golf team finished the 2006 season at the NCAC Championships in Springfield, Ohio on Saturday afternoon.

The team finished ninth overall with a score of 1093.

"It was good to see that our scores improved every day," Head Coach Blake New said. "It's a moral victory us to end our season on a positive note."

Golf Competes at Ohio Wesleyan Strimer Memorial Invitational

April 23, 2006 --- The Oberlin College golf team wrapped up at the Strimer Memorial Invitational in Delaware, Ohio. The team finished 17th overall with a final score of 719.

Junior Matt Standeven shot a 79 on the second day of competition, shaving nine strokes off of his day one effort.

The team will play in the NCAC Championships next weekend. Tee time is set for 10:00 a.m. on April 28th.

Golf Team Wraps Up at Nye Intercollegiate

April 15, 2006 --- The Oberlin College golf team finished two days of competition at the College of Wooster. The Yeomen ended the day in 18th place.

Oberlin shaved 14 strokes off of its first round score and shot an 816 over two days.

The team will take to the green next weekend at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational. The game is set for
10:00 a.m.

Golf Finishes 12th at Kenyon Invitational

April 2, 2006 --- Oberlin College golf team finished their first game of the season in 12th place. Ohio Domincan won the invitational with a two-day total of 602.
