Positions: Defensive Back/Strong Safety
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 195
High School Honors: Team Captain, Academic All-State Honorable Mention, All-Region Honorable Mention (x2), All-League (x2), Red Davis Scholar Athlete Award (x2), Sportsmanship Award
Why Oberlin? "Oberlin is an amazing school. I chose to come to Oberlin because I will recieve a great education, and play a lot of football. I was intrigued by the campus and the facilities. On top of all that I want to be part of a winnig program that will be playing in the Stagg Bowl.”
Head Coach Jeff Ramsey: "We are very excited about any defensive back that has size, speed, and is willing to hit people. With Tyler you get all three, he is a guy that will become a great player for us here at Oberlin. Tyler has the mentality and swagger of a stud linebacker, now you throw in the athleticism and speed of a cornerback and you have a special individual. Fans of Oberlin College football will be happy to see Tyler in the Cardinal and Gold for the next four years."

Zach Richard |
Hometown: Cocoa Beach, Fla.
High School: Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School
Position: Kicker/Wide Receiver
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 170
High School Honors: All District Honorable Mention-2006, All District and All Acadmic 2004, 2005. Made 100% of extra point attempts his senior year and made a 53 yard field goal during a game his senior year
Why Oberlin? "I chose Oberlin because Coach Estep made me feel right at home when my family and I came to visit. I loved the campus and the academic opportunities that Oberlin offers and overall it's the type of school and program that I would like to be part of for the next 4 years. Also, I think the cold, rainy weather in Ohio will be a nice change from the everyday warmth and sunshine of central Florida."
Head Coach Jeff Ramsey: "Zach will be an outstanding kicker for Oberlin College over the next four years. He has the ability to contribute right away as a kicker, and may also help us at receiver if he so chooses. His consistency and leg strength will be a huge contribution to our special forces unit."

Nick Zoroya |
Hometown: Novi, Mich.
High School: Novi High School
Position: Defensive End
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 205
High School Honors: 2x Academic All-Conference
Why Oberlin? "I have to be honest, I had not thought about going to college in Ohio before I talked to Coach Stillman. But after I met the coaches and took a campus tour I was convinced that Oberlin was a place where I could get an excellent education while playing football. At my second visit for a home game I had the chance to be in the locker room at half time and really liked the way the coaches talked to (coached) the players. After that visit my mind was made up, - Oberlin is where I want to spend the next four years.”
Head Coach Jeff Ramsey: "We really like Nick's height and athletisism at the defensive end position. He will be a two sport athlete here at Oberlin and play lacrosse in the spring. We are excited to use Nick as a specialist as a pass rusher until he matures more physically into the every down player that he will become. Nick has everything you look for in a pass rusher; long arms, speed, and quickness. We believe this will make him hard to stop off the edge. I can't wait to get him here in August."
