Zach Warner (So.)

September 11, 2006 -- After an outstanding performance in this past Saturday's 48-34 home victory over Heidelberg College, sophomore linebacker Zach Warner was tabbed as the North Coast Athletic Conference's Defensive Player of the week.

Warner, a native of Flint, Mich. (Kearsley High School), led the Yeomen defense in the non-conference win at Dill Field by recording seven tackles, two tackles for a loss, and one interception for 35 yards.

After a bye week this Saturday, Warner and the Yeomen will host Washington and Jefferson College on Sept. 23 for a 1:00 p.m. contest.
