October 9, 2006 -- Junior wide receiver Cassius Harris helped lead the Yeomen over Denison University this past weekend with 5 catches for 154 yards, including a 63-yard touchdown reception from sophomore quarterback Greg Mangan.  Harris’s excellent performance on the field earned him Offensive Player of the Week honors from the North Coast Athletic Conference.

After Denison took an early lead, Harris and Oberlin stormed back through to capture an 18-7 home victory.  A native of Chicago, Ill. (Loyola Academy), Harris ranks fifth among the league leaders in receiving yards per game (88.4) and sixth in receptions per game (4.8). Harris will lead Oberlin next Saturday in a NCAC contest at Earlham College that is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m.
