Field Hockey Falls to Wooster, 3-5

October 18, 2007 -- Abigail Brox tallied a hat trick for the Yeowomen, but it wasn't quite enough to lead the Oberlin field hockey team past host Wooster this afternoon. The Fighting Scots defeated Oberlin, 5-3, in the North Coast Athletic Conference contest.

Brox scored the first goal of the game, but Wooster rallied for five straight goals to put the game out of reach for the Yeowomen. Brox knocked in two more scores in the game's final three minutes.

Wooster out-shot Oberlin, 22-14, and had an 8-7 penalty corner advantage. Lauren Malinowski had nine saves for Oberlin.
