Joanna Johnson Places 89th at NCAA Championships

Joanna Johnson, a first-year runner for Head Coach
Ray Appenheimer's Oberlin women's cross country
team, competed at the NCAA Championships this morning.
Johnson placed 89th in the Division III Championship
race at St. Olaf College (Minn.).
Johnson, who crossed the finish line
in a time of 22:54, placed
ahead of 191 competitors. Just several weeks ago, she
won the 2007 North Coast Athletic Conference individual
title and led Oberlin to a second-place team finish.
