Travis Grout (Sr.)

September 25, 2006 -- After winning the individual title at this past Saturday's Otterbein Invitational, Oberlin senior tri-captain Travis Grout earned Athlete of the Week accolades from the North Coast Athletic Conference.

Grout (Jefferson, Ohio/Jefferson) won the 152-runner Otterbein Invite with an 8K time of 26:35. The next closest finisher to Grout was nearly 20 seconds away, Denison's Grant Russo (26:52).

The men's cross country team's next event is the All-Ohio Championships at Ohio Wesleyan University on Friday, Oct. 6.
