Davis-Hayes Named NCAC Runner of the Week Sophomore harrier was the top NCAC finisher at the GLCA Championships on September 9
September 11, 2006 -- After a brilliant run at the GLCA Championships this past Saturday, sophomore cross country runner Maddy Davis-Hayes was named the North Coast Athletic Conference's runner of the week.
A native of Philadelphia, Pa. (Germantown Friends High School), Davis-Hayes was the top NCAC finisher at the event, which was hosted by Earlham College (Ind.). Davis-Hayes crossed the finish line in second place with a time of 19:33, leading the Yeowomen to the team title.
Davis-Hayes and Oberlin will return to competition on Sept. 23 for the Otterbein Invitational.
