May 5 – Making his first-career start for the Oberlin College baseball team, first-year Phil Brua threw a complete-game gem to give the Yeomen a 4-1 victory over Thiel College in their final game of the season.
May 4 – The Oberlin College baseball team had their three-game winning streak snapped on Sunday afternoon at Dill Field, losing both ends of a doubleheader to Hiram College by the scores of 5-1 and 12-1.
May 1 – The Oberlin College baseball team won their third-straight game as they defeated the Lake Erie College Storm, 10-7, on Thursday night in a nine inning non-conference tilt at The Pipeyard in Lorain, Ohio.
April 29 – Down to his final strike, first-year Brandon Cantrill came through with the biggest hit of his young career – lifting a fly ball to medium-deep center field that found green pasture to propel the Oberlin College baseball team to an exciting 12-11 extra-inning win over John Carroll on Tuesday afternoon.
April 27 – First-year Pat Bourke came through with the biggest hit of his young collegiate career with a two-out run-scoring single down the left field line to propel the Oberlin College baseball team to a thrilling 6-5 walk-off win over Kenyon in the series finale on Sunday afternoon.
April 26 – In what started as a pitcher’s duel and eventually turned into a slugfest; it was a balk in the bottom of the seventh that allowed Oberlin to score the game-winning run for a 10-9 victory against the visiting Kenyon College Lords on Saturday afternoon.
April 24 – The offensive struggles continued for the Oberlin College baseball team on Thursday afternoon as they were defeated by Baldwin-Wallace College, 8-2, in a single nine inning non-league game on Thursday afternoon.
April 20 – The weekend road trip to Meadville, Pa. couldn’t have turned out much worse for the Oberlin College baseball team as the Allegheny College Gators completed the four-game sweep of the Yeomen by winning 6-4 and 8-5 on Sunday afternoon.
