Pre-event bowling fundraiser to be held on February 8
-- The Oberlin College Department of Athletics and Physical Education is pleased to announce that it will host a Relay for Life on February 24-25 at the John W. Heisman Club Field House. Organized by volleyball and track athlete Kate Cook '08 as part of her Oberlin winter term project, the Relay for Life is a program supported by the American Cancer Society and will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. Along with walking and running, the event will feature contests, music, dancing, and other festivities.
25 teams of 8-15 people will participate in the 16-hour program ($1,000 per team). If you are interested in taking part in this event to fight cancer, please see the contact information below. A pre-event bowling fundraiser will also take place at the Oberlin College lanes on February 8 from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
