SAAC And Sophomore Student Council Set To Run
-- SAAC, Sophomore Student Council, and the Heisman Club are presenting a 5k run. The charity race begins at Philips Gym, which is located at 200 Woodland Street, in Oberlin Ohio. Proceeds from this race will go to the Danielle Brender Fund Inc, and will be directed to support research for heart disorders, and promote CPR and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) awareness and training in the town of Oberlin.
Plaques will be given to top overall male and female runners. In addition, the top overall male and female runners will receive a money reward of $150 EACH! Runners finishing in the top three of each age group will receive awards. All 5k runners will also receive free tee-shirts! Age groups: Men and Women, 10 and under, 11-15, 16-20,21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56- 60, 61 and over.
UPDATE: Results from the 5K race are now available. To view them, please Click Here. The event was a success, as 84 people participated in the event and $2,000 was raised.
