Adult Learn-to-Swim Lessons

Oberlin College will be offering swimming lessons for adults. The eight-week session will be based on the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program using a variety of teaching techniques appropriate to each level (I to V)

Dates (Saturday mornings starting February 16, 2008):

February 16, 23
March 1, 8, 15
April 5, 12, 19

Times:
11:00-11:45am

Beginner/Adv. Beginners = Level I-III - Water Exploration, Primary Skills, and Stroke Treadiness

Intermediate = Levin IV/V - Stroke Development/Stroke Refinement

Cost:
$40 per adult for 8 sessions

Class size is limited: ideally student-instructor ratio 3-4:1.
Payment must be made at the time of registration.
Please make checks payable to Oberlin College.

Registration:
Registration will be held in the North Lobby of Philips Physical Education Center on Saturday, February 9, 2008, 9:30-11:00am
