Equestrian

Active Since: 1980

The Oberlin College Equestrian Team (OCET) was established as a club sport in the 1980s. The team promotes equestrian activities and provides an opportunity for students with an interest in riding to gain experience and learn more about horses. The team offers weekly lessons at minimal cost for students of all abilities in a number of different disciplines. Currently, the team competes in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). The team competes on every level, from Walk/Trot to Open (very experienced). We welcome riders of all abilities. The team competes in Hunt Seat, Western and Dressage with coach Richard Weitzel of Equine Differences, located in Oberlin, OH.
