PROVENANCE

The materials in this collection were received in 10 lots between 1996 and 2009. All but two lots are official records of the Oberlin Golf Club. The materials in accession number 2000/033 were received from Mary Ann Landgraf, and consist of copies of records and supporting documents relating to her complaint against the Oberlin Golf Club for gender discrimination in membership qualifications in 1994-95 (restricted). Materials in accession number 2009/055 consist of copies of minutes and president's correspondence made by Leslie C. Farquhar, member of the Oberlin Golf Club Women's Association, in preparation for her book on the history of the Women's Association.
